Gilly qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and has worked for both top ten and small accountancy firms. She has worked with the NHS since the mid 1990’s, joining as a Fundholding Manager for two GP fundholding practices in 1999. She joined the newly formed Shepway Primary Care Group as Finance Manager and Deputy Chief Executive.
She was Deputy Director of Finance for Shepway Primary Care Trust and then moved to Ashford PCT as Head of Primary Care in order to widen her NHS experience. Gilly joined South East Health Ltd (formerly Seadoc) in August 2005 as Director of Finance and Contracts and has taken responsibility for contracting and service negotiations with our commissioning PCTs.
