As of Friday 1st April 2011 at 6.30pm, South East Health Ltd (SEHL) will take over the delivery of the GP Out of Hours service to the population of Northamptonshire. The new service will be called Northamptonshire Out of Hours.
South East Health Ltd and NHS Northamptonshire have worked closely over the last month to ensure that the implementation of the service runs as smoothly as possible. South East Health Ltd recognises the importance of a local, knowledgeable workforce delivering quality standards of care to patients and have therefore engaged with, and retained, local staff from the previous provider Nenedoc.
South East Health Ltd’s ethos as a company is to deliver quality services to the patients we serve, and to provide this in a way that supports real continuity between us and the local GPs providing ‘in hours’ services. If you require a GP outside of normal opening hours, please contact Northamptonshire Out of Hours service. The service is available Mondays to Fridays from 6.30pm- 8am, and 24 hours a day on weekends and bank holidays. The phone number for the service remains the same - 03336 664 664. |
